The gods of ugliness are invading sidewalks all over the city. Starting a week or so ago, huge screen-type things on enormous metal legs began to appear on some of Madrid’s main thoroughfares. And then yesterday I found one in my neighborhood, on a relatively narrow one-lane street. According to a friend, they will soon sport advertisements. You decide what you think:cartel feo

    Yes, totally unbeleivable. One has just gone up near us. What were they thinking of?!?!?

    Bueno, I don’t know about “many.” A few have been removed and I believe some have been simply relocated. I have to check on the one on Galileo, but I’m pretty sure it’s still there.
